Call to Order. 2. Approval of Minutes of the July 14, 2005 Regular Board of Adjustment Meeting. 3. Administrative Comments. 4. Consider: Case ZBA-467, Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1), for servant/family quarters and a Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1) requiring that servant/family quarters be limited to a gross inhabitable square footage of not more than one thousand (1,000) square feet. The applicant is requesting to have a family quarter as part of the main residence with a gross floor area of approximately one thousand seven hundred (1,700) square feet. Location: 1603 Regal Oaks Drive, being legally described as Lot 13, Block 2, Regal Oaks Addition, and being approximately 1.03 acres. Current Zoning: "SF-lA" Single-Family Residential District. Applicant: Todd & Kristi Tew. Public Hearing 5. Consider: Case ZBA-468, Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1), for servant/family quarters and a Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1) requiring that servant/family quarters be limited to a gross inhabitable square footage of not more than one thousand (1,000) square feet. Agenda Item #1 Call to Order: Darrell Faglie called the meeting to order at 6:29:24 p.m. Agenda Item #2 Approval of the Minutes: The minutes of the July 14, 2005 Regular Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting were deemed approved by Acting - Chairman Darrell Faglie as presented. Motion: Waldman Second: Smart Ayes: Mayer, Hudson, Faglie, Smart, Waldman Nays: None Vote: 5 - 0 to Approve Agenda Item #3 Administrative Comments: Mr. Bryner, Senior Planner, announced the next meeting date will be on August 25, 2005. Acting - Chairman Faglie read the meeting format outline. Agenda Item #4, ZBA Case # 467, Special Exception Use Permit for a family quarter and Variance to gross inhabitable square footage: Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1), for servant/family quarters and Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1) requiring that servant/family quarters be limited to a gross inhabitable square footage of not more than one thousand (1,000) square feet. The applicant is requesting to have a family quarter as part of the main residence with a floor area of approximately one thousand seven hundred (1,700) square feet. Mr. Bryner reported that twenty-one (21) notices were sent to property owners within 200 feet and no (0) responses were received. The applicant, Dr. Kristi & Todd Tew, 1603 Regal Oaks Drive, Southlake, Tx, presented this item to the Board and answered questions. Acting - Chairman Faglie opened public hearing at 6:45:11 p.m. Wayne Lee, 1601 Regal Oaks Drive, Southlake, Tx; spoke in favor. Acting - Chairman Faglie closed the public hearing at 6:46:32 p.m. A motion was made to approve item case no. ZBA-467, as presented.
