EXECUTIVE SESSION: If a need arises to seek the advice from the City Attorney as to the posted
subject matter of this Board of Adjustment meeting, the issues or matters will be discussed in
executive session.
Pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code, the Board may meet in executive
session to consult with the City Attorney regarding matters authorized by Section 551.071,
including matters posted on this agenda.

2. Approval of the minutes of the October 16, 2008 regular Board of Adjustment meeting.
3. Administrative Comments.
4. Consider: ZBA-554, Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 35.6.b.5.a, requiring one (1)
parking space per every two hundred (200) square feet for a three thousand
(3000) square foot photography studio. Fifteen (15) parking spaces are required.
The applicant is requesting eight (8) parking spaces. The property is located at
205 Miron Drive, being described as Lot 2R2, Block 1, Miron Addition, and being
approximately 0.52 acres. The current zoning is "B1" Business Service Park
District. Applicant: BluDoor Studios. PUBLIC HEARING
5. Consider: ZBA-555, Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 11.50)1(iii)2, requiring a
maximum height of twenty (20) feet for an accessory building. The applicant is
requesting to build a garage and workshop with a height of twenty-two and one-
half (22.5) feet. The property is located at 2910 Burney Lane, being described as
Lot 4, Block 2, Harbor Oaks Subdivision, and being approximately 2.1 acres. The
current zoning is "SF1-A" Single-Family Residential District. Applicant: Amy

deemed approved.

Agenda Item # 3 Administrative Comments:
Richard announced the next scheduled meeting is December 11, 2008.
Kristin Jain and Todd Parrish arrived at the meeting and took their seats on the Board at
6:35.
Agenda Item # 4 ZBA Case # 554, Variance to off-street parking requirements:
ZBA Case # 554, Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 35.6(b)5(a), requiring one (1)
parking space per every two hundred (200) square feet for an approximately three thousand

Chairman Miltenberger opened and closed the public hearing at 7:00 p.m.
Kristin Jain made a motion to approve ZBA Case # 554 subject to the conditions that the
continued use of the facility as a photography studio for small groups, families, and
individuals as set forth in the application submitted by the applicant.

maximum height of twenty (20) feet for an accessory building. The applicant is requesting
to build an accessory building with a height of twenty-two and one-half (22.5) feet.

Mission Hill Estates Addition, and being approximately 2.10 acres and zoned as SF 1-A.
