EXECUTIVE SESSION: If a need arises to seek the advice from the City Attorney as to the posted
subject matter of this Board of Adjustment meeting, the issues or matters will be discussed in executive
session.
1. Pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code, the Board may meet in executive session to
consult with the City Attorney regarding matters authorized by Section 551.071, including matters
posted on this agenda.

4. Consider: ZBA-581, Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (3)
permitting the construction of accessory buildings or structures of a size or aggregate
size greater than that permitted under the accessory building requirements of the
zoning district in which the property lies. Ordinance No. 480, Section 11.50)1(i)
requires that the sum of all accessory buildings shall not exceed three percent (3%) of
the lot area, which for this property is approximately one thousand two hundred fifty-
two (1,252) square feet. The applicant is requesting to construct an accessory building
of approximately one thousand two hundred (1,200) square feet, bringing the total
square footage for accessory buildings to approximately one thousand seven hundred
eighty-one (1,781) square feet. The property is located at 2303 Hillside Ct., being
described as Lot 1, Hillside Estates, an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant
County, Texas. The current zoning is "SF1-A" - Single Family Residential. Applicants:
Ross and Karen Garrett. SPIN Neighborhood # 11.

permitting the construction of accessory buildings or structures of a size or aggregate
size greater than that permitted under the accessory building requirements of the
zoning district in which the property lies. The applicant is requesting to construct a
detached garage/workshop of one thousand five hundred fourteen (1,514) square feet.
The property located at 2305 Hillside Ct., being described as Lot 2, Hillside Estates, an
addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas. The current zoning is "SF1-A"
- Single Family Residential. Applicant: Chris Sykes. SPIN Neighborhood # 11.
