EXECUTIVE SESSION: If a need arises to seek the advice from the City Attorney as to the
posted subject matter of this Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting, the issues or matters will be
discussed in executive session.
1. Pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code, the Board may meet in executive

including matters posted on this agenda.

2. Approval of the minutes of the June 10, 2010 regular Zoning Board of Adjustment
meeting.

4. Consider: ZBA -595, Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12
(7) for a portable building. The applicant is requesting an extension of three (3)
years on one (1) existing portable building at Durham Intermediate School for
education classrooms. The property is located at 801 Shady Oaks Drive, being
described as Lot 1, Block 1, Carroll ISD No. 1 Addition, an addition to the City of
Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and being approximately 28.98 acres. The
current zoning is "CS" Community Service District. Applicant: Carroll
Independent School District. SPIN Neighborhood 7.
PUBLIC HEARING
5. Consider: ZBA -596, Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12
(3) to allow construction of an accessory building or structure greater than the
size or aggregate size permitted in the zoning district, which is 600 square feet.
The applicant is proposing to construct a garage, covered patio and breezeway
totaling approximately 962 square feet. The property is located at 549 Round
Hollow Lane, being described as Lot 16, Block 1, Kirkwood Hollow Phase II, an
addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and being
approximately 0.532 acres. The current zoning is "R -PUD" Residential Planned
Unit Development. Applicant: David Taylor. SPIN Neighborhood 1.
