EXECUTIVE SESSION: If a need arises to seek the advice from the City Attorney as to the posted
subject matter of this Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting, the issues or matters will be discussed in
executive session.

2. Approval of the minutes of the May 27, 2010 regular Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting.

REGULAR AGENDA:
4. Consider: ZBA -590, Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (3)
permitting the construction of accessory buildings or structures of a size or aggregate
size greater than that permitted. Ordinance No. 480, Section 14.5(e) requires that the
sum total of accessory buildings shall not exceed six hundred (600) square feet. The
applicant is requesting to construct an accessory building of approximately 1,311
square feet. The property is located at 2803 Watts Court, being described as Lot 13,
Block 1, Ridgewood II, an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and
being approximately 0.57 acres. The current zoning is "SF -20A" Single Family
Residential District. Applicants: Bruce and Vicki Fields. SPIN Neighborhood 11.
The applicant has requested to table this item to the August 12, 2010 meeting.
5. Consider: ZBA -593, Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 14.5d, requiring a rear yard setback
of not less than forty (40) feet. The applicant is requesting a rear yard setback of
twenty (20) feet to add a covered patio to the existing residence. The property is
located at 116 Wilmington Ct, being described as Lot 3, Block 1, Wilmington Court, an
addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and being approximately 0.46
acres. The current zoning is "SF -20A" Single Family Residential District. Applicant:
Clint Hart. SPIN Neighborhood 7.

6. Consider: ZBA -594, Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (7) for
portable buildings. The applicant is requesting an extension of three (3) years on two
(2) existing portable buildings at Eubanks Intermediate School for education
classrooms. The property is located at 500 S. Kimball Avenue, being described as Lot
1R, Block 1, Carroll ISD No. 4 Addition, an addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant
County, Texas, and being approximately 35.47 acres. The current zoning is "CS"
Community Service District. Applicant: Carroll Independent School District. SPIN
Neighborhood 8.
