SPIN Neighborhood # 10. 96 97 Kosse Maykus, Owner /Developer, 608 Chapel Ct., Southlake, TX, presented this item to the 98 Commission and opened up for questions. 99 100 Chairman Faglie opened the public hearing. 101 102 Mai Rhima, 103 Clear Lake Court, Southlake, TX stated concern about safety with the possible drive 103 through restaurant; also, noise, traffic and dumpster location. Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes — September 8, 2011 Page 2 of 3 104 Kevin Sweeney, 100 Clear Lake Court, Southlake, TX said he was worried about drive through 105 causing people to hang out late at night and not being seen by patrolling police from FM 1709. He 106 also read a letter of opposition from a neighbor who could not attend the meeting. 107 108 Jim Knese, 101 Clear Lake Court, Southlake, TX said he agreed with his neighbors. 109 110 Robbie Sue Mudd, 104 Clear Lake Court, Southlake, TX stated she was very upset and worried 111 about safety. 112 113 Chairman Faglie closed the public hearing and called the applicant back to the podium to respond. 114 115 Chairman Faglie re- opened the public hearing. 116 117 Brenda Sweeney, 100 Clear Lake Court, Southlake, TX stated she was concerned about a drive 118 through restaurant not being identified prior to approval. She doesn't feel it will be a high quality 119 restaurant. She would like the parking in the front along FM 1709 like the businesses across the 120 street. 121 122 Robbie Sue Mudd, 104 Clear Lake Court, Southlake, TX stated she wants something other than a 123 restaurant. She was also concerned about the location of the parking. She didn't think there were 124 any other restaurants in Southlake that close to residential. 125 126 Chairman Faglie closed the public hearing and called for discussion. 127 128 Made a motion to approve ZA11 -034, Site Plan for Stratfort Gardens Retail Center granting 129 requested variances for off - street parking from 48 (required) to 44 (proposed); width of curb 130 landscape areas; and, driveway stacking.
