Ordinance requires a minimum of 250' of 42 spacing between limited access driveways and there is approximately 209' between the 43 existing driveway to the west and the proposed driveway. 44 45 ■ Stacking depth... 100' required and 39' proposed. Ordinance requires Lots to front a 3 public or private street. 4 5 Mr. Drews commented on a letter that he had written regarding updates on these items and the issues 6 that were raised at the August 23, 2001, Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting. He stated that 7 the SPIN meeting was successful and that the needs of the neighbors could be accommodated. He 8 also discussed the road and driveway issue. 9 10 Chairman Murphy opened the public hearing for ZA01-077. 11 (Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, 09-06-01, CD 1, 7:50:34) 12 13 Chip Reed, 715 Greymoor Place, Southlake, TX stated he would like to see heavy landscaping to 14 hide back side of property from residential area. Other issues addressed were the lighting used; the 15 location of the dumpster; the parking; and the potential road connecting to Carroll. 16 17 Keith Holtz, 721 Greymoor Place, Southlake, TX was concerned about the proposed street 18 connecting to Carroll and asked about the type of offices that would lease these spaces. 19 20 Tamara McMillan, 1023 Mission Drive, Southlake, TX stated that SPIN #10 also had an interest in 21 this item and would like to be involved. She was concerned about traffic on Byron Nelson. 22 23 Chairman Murphy closed the public hearing for ZA01-077. 24 (Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, 09-06-01, CD 1, 8:07:56) 25 26 Commissioner Jones stated the concerns of both SPIN groups are legitimate. 27 28 Commissioner Boren stated his concern for the driveway variance. 29 30 Commissioner Muller stated her concern about the zoning request. She said the City would have no 31 control on restrictions. S-P-1 with "O-1" uses would give more control. 32 33 Commissioner Jones stated this zoning request was legitimate. 34 35 Vice-Chairman Terrell stated the "O-1" uses were appropriate. 36 37 Commissioner Boren stated his opposition to this zoning request and the driveway proposals. He 38 wanted to see more buffering behind the property. He was also strongly opposed to having the office 39 spaces so close to the school.
