MINUTES
PRESENT: Chairperson, Randy Robertson; Vice - Chairperson, Janet
Murphy; Members: Ann Barnes, Steve Bender, Mike Jurecka and Terry
Mitchell.
ABSENT: Rick Roberts, Karen Apple and Richard Lantz (excused).
Park Board voted to hold two meetings a month. The meetings will
be the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. The 3rd Monday meeting
will deal primarily with Park Land Review.
City Staff will furnish the Park Board with individual 8 -1/2 X 11
plat drawings, a map of proximaty of subdivision and total number
of acreage and number of lots and any other pertinent information
pertaining to Parks.
This information will be available at least two days prior to our
Monday meetings.
Mike Jureda continues to receive full size park packet.
Randy Robertson will call the Mayor to request a work session to
express our concerns and ideas pertaining to the Park Land
Dedication Ordinance. A tentative date may be September 11th.
A motion was made to hold the meeting scheduled for Labor Day on
Wednesday 5th.
The board reviewed a sample copy of a request for Master Plan study
proposal from City of North Richland Hills. We can revamp it to
suit our needs.
During the 3rd Monday in September, we will draft the RFP for the
Park Master Plan Study. Come prepared on September 5th.
