R 9 Members Absent: Vice - Chairman Kate Smith and Board Member Chad Patton. 10 11 Staff Present: Dennis Killough, Deputy Director of Planning & Development Services; Richard 12 Schell, Planner II; and Lorrie Fletcher, Planner I / Acting Board Secretary. 13 14 Agenda Item No. 1 — Call to Order: Chairman Fairchild called the September 15, 2011 Zoning 15 Board of Adjustment meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. 16 17 Agenda Item No. 2 — Approval of the Minutes: Chairman Fairchild opened the discussion for 18 the minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting held on August 25, 2011. 19 20 A motion was made to approve the minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting held on 21 August 25, 2011, as presented. 23 Motion: Lambert 24 Second: McCaskill 25 Ayes: Kubiak, Lambert, McCaskill, Amend, Andrews, Fairchild 26 Nays: None 27 Abstain: None 28 Vote: 6-0 29 30 Motion: Carried 31 32 Agenda Item No. 3 — Administrative Comments: Dennis Killough, Deputy Director of 33 Planning & Development Services stated there would not be a regularly scheduled meeting for 34 September 29, 2011, however, there may be an orientation in its place, dependent upon City 35 Council's action to appoint a new member. 36 37 Agenda Item No. 4 - ZBA -616, Variance to Minimum Lot Area: Variance to Ordinance No. 38 480, Section 11.5(f), requiring a minimum lot area of forty three thousand five hundred sixty 39 (43,560) square feet, or one acre. The applicant is requesting a lot area of forty thousand six 40 hundred eighty five (40,685) square feet, or approximately 0.934 acres. The property is located 41 at 2500 Greenbough Drive, being described as Tract 2B12, Samuel Freeman Survey, Abstract 42 No. 525, City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas. The current zoning is SF -1A — Single Family 43 Residential District. SPIN Neighborhood # 4.
