Carroll Avenue CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION July 28, 1992 7:00 p.m. MINUTES COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor, Gary Fickes; Mayor Pro Tem Rick Wilhelm; Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Farrier. Members: Stephen Apple and Jon Michael Franks. COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: Barry Emerson and Mike O'Brien. CITY STAFF PRESENT: Curtis Hawk, City Manager; LouAnn Heath, Director of Finance; Michael Barnes, Director of Public Works; Malcolm Jackson, Deputy Director of Public Safety, Police Services; Jerry Williams, Deputy Director of Public Safety, Fire Services; Chris Terry, Assistant to the City Manager; Greg Last, Director of Community Development; and, Sandra L. LeGrand, City Secretary. Agenda Item #1, Call to Order Mayor Fickes called the work session to order and noted the purpose of the session was the first Budget Session for FY92 -93 Budget. Agenda Item #2, Discussion: Fiscal Year 1992 -93 Budget The City Manager, Curtis Hawk, stated he will file with the City Secretary on August 1, 1992, the proposed budget for FY 92 -93. Mr. Hawk also noted Budget Work Session will be held on August 11, 12, and 13, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Also, on each Council agenda for the next several regular meeting, the Budget will be on the agenda. During the session tonight the City Manager, and Director of Finance, LouAnn Heath reviewed the information attached to the minutes (pages 1 through 11, dated July 28, 1992).
