Southlake Boulevardacross and is the formerlocation of the Gateway Church. Development Details Mercury Radio Arts, Inc. is requesting approval of a Zoning Change and Site Plan from “CS” Community Service District to “S-P-1” Detailed Site Plan District. In addition to the existing “CS” district uses, this proposal adds “O-1” Office District uses to include specific provisions related to radio, television, internet broadcasting and production studio uses. The property is approximately 13.67 acres located at 2121 E. Southlake Blvd. QUESTIONS / CONCERNS Are you going to require all the parking? We will not use all the parking spaces on a regular basis but there will be events o hosted that more parking will be used. Is this a lease or purchase? We are looking to purchase but that will be contingent upon approval of the o zoning request. Would they ever put up a tower or antenna? No, since, it’s an Internet based production so the changes would primarily be o the removal of the cross on top of the building. Do you see any problems with thecenter divider on Southlake Boulevard? We will have a traffic engineer do an assessment to see what type of impacts it o will have on the site due to limited access. Who is going to handle security issues with the property? Mercury Radio Arts will have a security detail on site whenever it is necessary o but we currently don’t know any name of a company or group who will be providing the security. Will there be a building for someone to check tickets to see if they are allowed? Currently it hasn’t been evaluated but more than likely there will be a staff o member there checking tickets. Do you have a picture of the gates? The gates will be an 8-foot black wrought iron gate. o Will there be equipment trucks there parked regularly? There may be some vehicles usedfor specific taping dates but it will not be on a o regular basis. Will there be additional landscaping or tree planting? Not at this point o What are you going to do about the open lot to the west? Nothing is planned currently and is a part of the open space of the lot. o How many people did the church have on a regular service or special event, will this use be less? This use would require less parking than the church demanded. o How old is this company, Mercury Radio Arts?
