Item 4G Approve a Discretionary Service Agreement with Oncor Electric Delivery LLC for the relocation of utilities along FM1709 at Foxborough Estates in the amount of $92,105.25 Item 4G Requested Action Approve a Discretionary Service Agreement with Oncor Electric Delivery LLC for the relocation of utilities along FM1709 at Foxborough Estates in the amount of $92,105.25 Background Information The Foxborough Estates deceleration lane requires an extension of the existing box culverts to accommodate the right turn lane and the proposed 8’ sidewalk Oncor underground facilities are currently within an easement adjacent to the existing right of way along FM1709 at Foxborough Lane Background Information TxDOT requires that the existing electric, cable and telephone lines adjacent to the right of way be lowered and encased in conduit Oncor will lower and encase their existing lines in conduit to accommodate the extension of the storm drain culverts The agreement outlines responsibilities of Oncor and the city Background Information Franchise utilities are required to relocate their facilities for street widening projects – if utilities are located within the right of way, utilities shall be relocated at their cost when utilities are within an easement, the city must pay to relocate those utilities Financial Considerations Funding for the FM1709 Deceleration Lane project and the agreement with Oncor Electric Delivery LLC is available in in the 1999 Traffic Management Bond Program PROJECT LOCATION MAP Foxborough Estates Questions: Gordon Mayer (817) 748-8089
