GSWS to raffle trees with proceeds benefitting local charities
Drawing to be held on Dec 15
Trees delivered to raffle winners Dec 16
Background Information
Request Town Hall lobby be open to public on evening of Nov 19 (during City’s Annual Tree Lighting Event)
To allow event attendees to view trees and participate in the raffle
Lobby is historically closed for holiday reception prior to tree lighting ceremony
If approved, staff requests direction on how to proceed with holiday reception

Request to display 2 vehicles on pedestrian sidewalk corners near Rustin Park for 40 days (Nov 7 – Dec 16)
Park Place Motorcars is the sponsor for GSWS Festival of Trees events
If approved, staff recommends vehicles be removed from 4:00pm Friday, Nov 18 – 9:00 am Sunday, Nov 20 (to avoid space conflict with Nov 19 Tree Lighting event)
