Item 6G C3 Provide attractive and unique spaces for enjoyment of personal interests Ordinance No. 1006 Per Section 5.20 of the Southlake City Charter, The City Council shall by ordinance appoint one or more judges of the Municipal Court. The current Presiding Municipal Judge for the City of Southlake has served since July 2001. Her current agreement expires on July 17, 2011. $3,500 per month with limited benefits. Benefits include: Participation in the City’s Retirement System Lexis/Nexus – Online Case Tracking Dues for the Texas State Bar Association Dues for the Northeast Tarrant County Bar Association Ordinance No. 1006 Next Steps Once appointed, the Municipal Court Judge must file an: Oath of Office; and Statement of Appointed Officer with the City Secretary’s Office.
