The City invites families to bring their blankets and lawn chairs out for an evening of music and fun.
Library Summer Reading Club
14 performances for families with 1st to 5th graders throughout the summer
Over 15,000 will attend library performances this summer
The library does one third of its business for the year in June and July
80% of all 1st to 5th graders in CISD participated in the Summer Reading Program last year
Library youth staff will visit every student at each elementary school in the month of May promoting library use in the summer and the Summer Reading Club.

Expected to sell out by first session
Each week there is a new camp theme and a new place to explore
Campers will travel to the Fort Worth Zoo, Six Flags, Hawaiian Falls, Fort Worth Science and History Museum as well as many other places
Therapeutic Recreation Summer Club 2011
Provides Therapeutic Recreation participants ages 13 and up an opportunity to go out on the town for a day
Trips include: Legoland Discovery Center, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and Texas Rangers games
One of the most successful therapeutic recreation programs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area

Opportunity to explore nature
The campers are given the title of scientists and taken on a journey while staying in the area they live in
This years camp theme is “The Ocean”
It is an educational program that offers an introduction to the sciences of physics, biology, and chemistry.
