Session may be held, under these exceptions, at the end of the Regular
Session or at any time during the meeting that a need arises for the City
Council to seek advice from the City Attorney as to the posted subject matter

A. Approval of minutes of the Regular City Council Meeting held December 5,
2000.
B. Award of bid to Marpave, Inc. for Lonesome Dove Park sidewalk construction.
C. Award of bid to Botanical Technologies for Bob Jones Park Phase II
improvements.
D. Resolution No. 00 -108, Supporting the recommendations of the North Texas
Commission Board of Directors to the 77 Texas Legislature to take certain
actions to improve Texas' air quality in the State of Texas.
E. Resolution No. 00 -109, Supporting the recommendations of the North Texas
Commission Board of Directors to the 77 Texas Legislature to take certain
actions to improve Texas' surface transportation infrastructure in the State of
Texas.
F. Resolution No. 01 -001, Appointment of Chair to the Tax Increment Reinvestment
Zone Number One Board of Directors for 2001.
G. Authorize the Mayor to enter into a Scope of Service Agreement with the
Southlake Chamber of Commerce for 2001.
H. Authorize the Mayor to enter into a lease purchase agreement between
Government Capital Corporation and City of Southlake for a Model 2001 Lance
Custom Pumper Fire Truck.
I. Approval of 2001 Planning and Zoning Commission Submittal and Meeting
Schedule.
J. Variance to Subdivision Ordinance No. 483, as amended, Section 4.01(1)2, Plat
Expiration for Case No. ZA 99 -096, Final Plat, Sabre Group Campus.
K. ZA 00 -123, Plat Vacation of Lots 1 and 2, Simmons Addition. Location: On the

C. Request for a variance to Sign Ordinance No. 704 -A for Fitness HQ located at
2800 East Southlake Boulevard (Gateway Plaza) to allow an additional attached
sign on the east elevation.
D. Authorize the Mayor to execute a developer agreement for Timarron Clubhouse
Estates and East Continental Boulevard bridge replacement.
E. Authorize the Mayor to enter into an engineering services contract between
Graham Associates , Inc. and the City of Southlake, City of Keller, and the Town
of Westlake for engineering for the construction documents and right -of -way
documents for FM 1938, Precinct Line Road, from SH 114 to FM 1709.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
SECTION 551.071 CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY
The City Council may conduct a private consultation with its attorney when the City Council
seeks the advise of its attorney concerning any item on this agenda, about pending and
contemplated litigations, or a settlement offer, or on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to
the City Council under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Board
of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551. This includes the following pending and /or
contemplated litigation subjects:

SECTION 551.072 DELIBERATION REGARDING REAL PROPERTY

The City Council may conduct a closed meeting to deliberate a negotiated contract for a

The City Council may deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties,
discipline, or dismissal of public officers, including the City Manager, City Secretary, City

SECTION 551.076 DELIBERATION REGARDING SECURITY DEVICES
The City Council may deliberate the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation of
security personnel or devices.
