This agreement entered into this date by and between DICK L.
KIRKLAND, hereinafter referred to as KIRKLAND, and the CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, a municipal corporation, acting herein by and through
its duly authorized and elected mayor, hereinafter referred to
as THE CITY;
KIRKLAND hereby agrees to set aside a 25 foot strip of land
along County road No. 3021, commonly called Carroll School Road,
and a 35 foot strip of land along County Road No. 3080, commonly
called Roanoke -Dove Road, said stripe of land being more parti-
cularly described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a
part hereof, and it being understood by the parties hereto that
said tract of land is set aside for future street purposes,
however, it is expressly understood and agreed that this is not
a dedication of said tract of land for street purposes, but the
same is set aside subject to condemnation or by contract of sale
by the CITY OF SOUT HLAKE.
It is understood and agreed that this contract and agreement
shall terminate after the expiration of ten (10) years from date
hereof, provided that the same is not under contract or in con-
demnation for street purposes on said expiration date.
It is further understood and agreed that KIRKLAND may convey
his entire tract of land to a subsequent purchaser, provided such
conveyance shall be subject to this agreement.
This contract shall be binding upon the heirs, administra-
tors, executors, successors and assigns of the parties hereto.

FIELD NOTES
BEING a strip of land 25 feet wide off the East side of
the D. L. Kirkland 4.1816 acre tract out of the A. H.
Chivers Survey, A -299, in Tarrant County, Texas; and a
strip of land 35 feet wide off the North side of said
tract further described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the West R. 0. W. line of County
Road #3021; said point also being 21.43 feet West and
153.5 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Chivers
Survey;
THENCE South, along said West R. 0. W. line of County
Road #3021 519.16 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE West, 299.75 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 647.66 feet to a point in the Southerly
R. 0. W. line of County Road #3080;
THENCE Southerly, with a curve to the right, radius of
411.83 feet, a distance of 312.22 feet to the end of
said curve;
THENCE South 46 degrees 33 minutes 45 seconds East, and
continuing along said Southerly R. 0. W. line, 22.84 feet
to the place of beginning, and containing 4.1816 acres
of land, more or less.
