THIS AFFIDAVIT IS BEING MADE SOLEY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CORRECTING A CLERICAL
ERROR IN AN ORIGINAL DOCUMENT (HEREIN REFERRED TO AS "DOCUMENT ", THE ORIGINAL OF
WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO.) BEING A WARRANTY DEED FILED APRIL 7, 1994, RECORDED IN
THE DEED RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, EXECUTED BY JERRELL D. BROWN AND
CHARLOTTE E ELIZABETH BROWN, TO THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE AFFECTING THE FOLLOWING
DESCRIBED PROPERTY:
Being a 0.0937 acre tract of land, more or less, situated in the County of Tarrant, State of Texas, and being out of
the Absalom H. Chivers Survey, Abstract 299, and being part of a tract of land conveyed to J.D. Brown, by deed
recorded in Volume 3776, Page 287, deed records of Tarrant County, Texas, which 0.0937 acres of land, more
or less, is more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a 5/8" iron pin set, said point being the Northeast corner of the above referenced tract, as
recorded in Volume 3776, Page 287 of deed records of Tarrant County, Texas.
THENCE SOUTH, for a distance of 240.00 feet to a 5/8" iron pin set for a corner;
THENCE N 88° 23' 00" W, for a distance of 17.00 feet to a 5/8" iron pin set for a corner;
THENCE NORTH, for a distance of 240.00 feet to a 5/8" iron pin set for a corner;
THENCE S 88° 23' 00" E for a distance of 17.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 0.0937
acres of land, more or less.
THIS AFFIDAVIT IS BEING MADE FOR THE PURPOSE OF FILING SUCH CORRECTION OF
RECORD IN THE DEED RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS.
AS ORIGINALLY EXECUTED AND FILED, THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT MISTAKENLY DID
NOT INCLUDE BEARING REFERENCE NOTATION OR ADEQUATE CLARIFICATION OF BOUNDARY
MONUMENTS.
THE DOCUMENT HAS BEEN CORRECTED AS SET FORTH IN ABOVE PARAGRAPH, AND IS BEING
REFILED WITH THIS AFFIDAVIT AS A CORRECTION DOCUMENT TO TAKE THE PLACE OF THE
