Change zoning back to “CS” Community Service District. Due to changes in the outside storage regulations, it is no longer necessary to have“S-P-1” zoning. The City’s properties are typically zoned “CS”. B. Requested variances Case No. Attachment A ZA01-126Page 1 1. Variance to the required bufferyards. The City is requesting to allow plantings as they already exist and as granted on the previously approved plan. 2. The proposed clock tower exceeds the allowed maximum height of 50’. The City requests a waiver to allow a 100’clock tower. Although Case ZA002-003, a request for SUP to allow a telecommunication antenna and associated equipment, is directly associated with this request, the clock tower is permitted as an accessory use and structure under the provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 480, Sections 8.3 and 33.5 and is not dependant upon the SUP approval.
