PROJECT: Master Sign Plan for Carillon for Entry Feature Signs
REQUEST: Jacobs Engineering Group, on behalf of Hines -GTIS Carillon LLC, is requesting
approval of a Master Sign Plan for the Carillon development for two entry
feature signs. One sign, labeled "Main Sign" on the accompanying sign
drawings, is proposed at the northeast corner of E. S.H. 114 and N. White
Chapel Blvd. The second sign, labeled "Entry Sign" on the accompanying
drawings, is proposed at the northeast corner of N. White Chapel Blvd. and
Kirkwood Blvd. The applicant has also provided a sign drawing for a typical
street sign, although street signs do not require variance approval.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
OWNER: Hines Southlake Land LP
APPLICANT: Jacobs Engineering Group
PROPERTY SITUATION: The property is located at the northeast corner of E. S.H. 114 and
N. White Chapel Blvd.
HISTORY: July 6, 2010 — Approval for a temporary sign for the Carillon office
development in the 200 block of E. S.H. 114 was extended for two
years by City Council (SV10 -011). This sign will expire on July 15,
2012.
July 15, 2008 - A temporary sign for the Carillon office development
in the 200 block of E. S.H. 114 was approved by City Council for a
period of two years (SP08 -144).

STAFF COMMENTS: The site plan and further sign information are under Attachment `D'
of this staff report.
REQUEST: The applicant is requesting approval of a Master Sign Plan. Please
refer to the attached sign information (Attachment D) for more sign
details.
