Item 4I Audio9 rITY Or SOUTHLAKE Requested Action City Council approval of a permit for Carroll ISD Arts Display in Town Hall 3rd Floor Training Room during Art In The Square, April 15- 17, 2011 E Permit for CISD Art Display WHAT: CISD students art work exhibit comparable to display held in lobby area during January /February WHEN: April 15 -17, 2011 (AIS weekend) WHERE: Town Hall 3rd Floor Training Rooms (display will occupy more than 30% of the wall /floor space) WHO: Permit sponsored by Southlake Arts Council and Southlake Public Library 3 - A ' r � e ■ � rr 0 �z: Art panels of this type with similar style of art will be placed in the 3rd floor training rooms. 3 Dimensional art will be placed on tables around the space, and wall space will be used as necessary with adhesives that will not damage the walls 0 Financial Consideration Approval of the permit requires no additional funding. Other Considerations This program is sponsored in part by the Southlake Public Library and as is the case with all library programs — library staff will be assigned to specifically work this program and keep the facility secure 5 This Permit for Visual Art Display in Town Hall is linked to the City Council Focus Areas of Quality Development and Partnerships and Volunteerism.
