City Secretary Lori Payne resigned from her position as City Secretary effective
January 10, 2011. As a result, City Council directed staff to conduct a search for a
replacement City Secretary. The position was advertised in November, 2010 and
the City received applications from 52 candidates. Staff subsequently screened
applications by reviewing applicant resumes, conducting phone interviews and
conducting panel interviews. Ultimately, three candidates were invited to be
interviewed by City Council. However, one candidate did withdraw her application
prior to being interviewed by City Council.
