The following is a tree conservation plan provided by the applicant. Though the only
trees on site are deceased or not required to be preserved new landscaping will be
installed as indicated by the applicant. In October 2001, City Council approved a
zoning change and concept plan for Pecan Creek that included this lot, in that
approval a condition was placed for this lot to have a 20 -foot bufferyard adjacent to
the school property with evergreen material. The applicant has indicated they
intend to comply with this requirement. [There are two (2) Cedar Elm trees on the
site that are over 6" diameter. The rest are deceased soapberry trees or not a
protected size. The rest are Hackberry, Mesquite, and American Elm.]
