Financial Considerations
• TxDOT relocation cost responsibility
— 50% of relocation costs for utilities within
the existing ROW
—100% of relocation costs for utilities
outside the existing ROW
• Remaining share is the responsibility of
the city PLUS any betterment
• Final reimbursement from the city will
be based on the actual costs incurred
during construction.
