• City works w/ non - profit Community organizations to
provide social, educational, economic, and cultural
programs and services for Southlake citizens and
businesses
• Allows for services to be provided without the City
having to fund additional personnel and capital
investments, as well as the ongoing administrative and
operational expenses that would be required to provide
these services to the community

— assessed value to the City for each agreement
— standardized agreements and clarified scope of services
• Workgroup recommends:
— 3 year terms
— Stagger agreements (2 year initial term for half of
agreements)

— Coordinates Leadership Southlake
— Hosts Oktoberfest
— Organizes & hosts annual business awards banquet
— Makes retention visits for 30 businesses

— Visual and performing arts concerts to the public
