PROJECT: Amendment to the Master Sign Plan for White's Chapel United Methodist
Church
REQUEST: White's Chapel United Methodist Church is requesting an amendment to their
Master Sign Plan for a tower sign which will be located along South White Chapel
Boulevard. White's Chapel United Methodist Church received approval for a
Master Sign Plan on November 16, 2010. As a condition of approval, the applicant
agreed to either bring the existing marquee (readerboard) sign on South White
Chapel Boulevard into compliance with the Sign Ordinance or to propose a
replacement sign. The applicant is now requesting approval of a replacement
sign. The following table outlines what is allowed under the Sign Ordinance and
how the existing and proposed sign compare.
