Phase 1 is located within the Town of Westlake from SH114 to the Randol Mill Bend. Phase 2, which will primarily within the City of Southlake will continue south from the Randol Mill Bend to the intersection of Southlake Blvd (FM1709) Background • FM1938 Phase II — joint project between the City of Southlake, Keller, Tarrant County, TxDOT and the Regional Transportation Council (NCTCOG — RTC) • Southlake, Keller and Tarrant County — responsible for providing engineering design services and right -of -way to TxDOT for the FM1938 project USOUTHLAKE 0 Approve Interlocal Agreement with the City of Keller • FM1938 Phase I — Construction is currently underway within the Town of Westlake • FM1938 Phase II — 4 lane roadway southward from the Randol Mill Bend — transition to a 6 lane roadway at Johnson Road — includes improvements to the intersection at Southlake Blvd. (FM1709) USOUTHLAKE 5 Approve Interlocal Agreement with the City of Keller The costs for the design contract for engineering services is as follows: Current Design Contract Tarrant County Participation Total Southlake — 78.7 %* Keller— 21.3 %* *based on % of frontage on roadway 0 SOUTHLAKE $1,498,107.13 $451,449.00 $1,046,658.13 $823,719.95 $222,938.18 Southlake's net obligation under this contract — approx. $790,000 with participation by Tarrant County and the City of Keller 0 mom= The City of Southlake provides municipal services that support the highest life for our residents and businesses.
