Item 5A (2)City of Southlake SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING TOWN HALL, COUNCIL CHAMBERS November 8, 2004 MINUTES CITY COUNCIL PRESENT Mayor Andy Wambsganss, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Carolyn Morris, and Councilmembers: Laura K. Hill, Gregory Jones, and John Terrell. CITY COUNCIL ABSENT Mayor Pro Tern Keith Shankland and Councilmember Virginia M. Muzyka. STAFF PRESENT City Manager Billy Campbell, Assistant City Manager Shana Yelverton, Finance Director Sharen Elam, Director of Community Services Malcolm Jackson, Manager of Technical Services Gary Gregg, Audio Visual Systems Technician Pam Jordan, City Attorney Debra Drayovitch, City Attorney Tim Sralla, and City Secretary Lori Farwell. Agenda Item No. 1, Call to order Mayor Wambsganss called the meeting to order at 6:11 p.m. Agenda Item No. 2, Executive Session. Mayor Wambsganss announced that the City Council would be going into Executive Session pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Section 551.071, to seek advice from the City Attorney. City Council adjourned for Executive Session at 6:11 p.m. Executive Session began at 6:21 p.m. and ended at 7:02 p.m. Mayor Wambsganss reconvened the meeting at 7:02 p.m. No action was taken as a result of executive session. Agenda Item No. 3, Discussion of Southlake Town Square development. Brian Stebbins of Cooper & Stebbins made a presentation regarding the Grand Avenue District to Council and answered Council's questions. No action was taken by Council on this item. Agenda Item No. 2, Executive Session. Mayor Wambsganss announced that the City Council would be going into Executive Session pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Section 551.071, to seek advice from the City Attorney. City Council adjourned for Executive Session at 7:53 p.m. Executive Session began at 7:53 p.m. and ended at 8:22 p.m. Mayor Wambsganss reconvened the meeting at 8:22 p.m. No action was taken as a result of executive session.
