Guest John N. "Buz' Owens Gary Fitts Donald F Sopranxi Fred Sahs G. Philip Morley When Dr. Greg Wright, DDS, constructed his professional building at 200 E. Southlake Blvd. approximately seven years ago, twenty -five foot building setbacks were required on the north and east sides of the property. With the expectation of adding two dental operatories in the future to the east side of the building, we purposely held the building back about 10' -6" from the east setback line (a minimum of 35' -6" from the east property line). Dr. Wright's practice has grown to the point that he needs to construct the planned -for addition, but we have discovered that the building setback rules have changed and the required setbacks have been increased for new construction to 40'. Given the fact that we propose to meet all other current requirements, including building articulation and parking, for the new addition, we respectfully request that we be allowed to construct the addition to the original 25' building setback.
