16 Agenda Item No. 1 — Call to Order: Chairman Parrish called the January 27, 2011 Zoning
17 Board of Adjustment meeting to order at 6:31 p.m.

19 Agenda Item No. 2 — Approval of the Minutes: Chairman Parrish opened discussion of the
20 minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting held on January 13, 2011.

22 Motion was made to approve the minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting held on
23 January 13, 2011 as presented to the Board.

34 Agenda Item No. 3 — Administrative Comments: Richard Schell, Planner II, announced that
35 the next Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 10, 2011. Mr.
36 Schell stated that unless Case ZBA -606 is tabled to then there will be no meeting on February
37 10, 2011.

39 Agenda Item No. 4 - ZBA -606, Variance to the requirement that no accessory building be
40 located forward of the principal building on the lot. Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section
41 34.2(f), requiring that no accessory building be located forward of the principal building on the
42 lot. The applicant is proposing to construct an approximately 500 square foot pool house
43 forward of the principal building on the lot.

45 The property is located at 3170 Briar Lane, being described as Lot 6, Hilltop Acres Addition, an
46 addition to the City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, and being approximately 1.46 acres.
47 The current zoning is "SF -1A" - Single Family Residential District. SPIN Neighborhood # 2. The
48 applicant is Stan and Jennifer Brown.

68 subject to the accessory building being constructed in a material and color that is consistent with
69 the improved house.
