15 Agenda Item No. 1 — Call to Order: Chairman Parrish called the January 13, 2011 Zoning
16 Board of Adjustment meeting to order at 6:31 p.m.

18 Chairman Parrish called for an Executive Session at 6:38 p.m. Pursuant to Section 551.071,
19 Texas Government Code, the Commission may meet in executive session to consult with the City
20 Attorney regarding matters authorized by Section 551.071, including matters posted on this
21 agenda.

23 Chairman Parrish reconvened from the Executive Session at 6:53 p.m. No action was
24 necessary.

26 Agenda Item No. 2 — Approval of the Minutes: Chairman Parrish opened discussion of the
27 minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting held on December 16, 2010.

29 Motion was made to approve the minutes of the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting held on
30 December 16, 2010 as presented to the Board.

43 Richard stated that the applicant for Case ZBA -606 has requested to table this case until our
44 next meeting and if the request is approved, that there will be meeting on that date.

46 Chairman Parrish moved Case # 606 up on the agenda and called for a motion to table at the
47 applicant request.

49 Agenda Item No. 5 - ZBA -606, Variance that no Accessory Building be located forward of
50 the Principal Building on the lot. Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 34.2(f), requiring

51 that no accessory building be located forward of the principal building on the lot. The applicant is
52 proposing to construct an approximately 500 square foot pool house forward of the principal
53 building on the lot.

77 is one thousand three hundred eleven (1,311) square feet, a Variance to Ordinance No. 480,
78 Section 1105, requiring a side yard of not less than twenty (20) feet, and a special Exception
79 Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1) for a servants or family quarters. The
80 applicant is requesting approval of a two -story accessory building and covered patio covering
81 approximately one thousand four hundred forty -five square feet with a side yard setback of ten
82 (10) feet to be used as a servants or family quarters.
