Several local entities have
again pooled their resources
to provide two days of action
and adventure - packed fun in
the Great Outdoors. The
Parks and Recreation
Departmnets from the cities
of Southlake, Grapevine,
Coppell, Keller, as well as
representatives of the Texas

offer area youngsters the
opportunity to have fun
outdoors and learn a little
about the local habitats.
The event will be held on
April 9— 10 (from 9-5 on
Saturday and 9 — 4 on
Sunday) this year at
Grapevine's Meadowmeare

Preventing Litter
Please consider the following tips from Keep America
Beautiful to help keep or parks and trails clean:
• Don't assume "someone else" will pick up your trash.
• Secure your curbside waste. Poor handling leads to a
primary source of litter.
• Keep a trash bag in your car.
• Organize a clean -up day and adopt some areas to use
as examples of "clean zones."
