BACKGROUND INFORMATION
OWNER: Marine Quest Lake County
APPLICANT: Blake Architects
PROPERTY SITUATION: 160 & 200 E. Continental Boulevard
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Tracts 3 & 4R, The Glory Place
LAND USE CATEGORY: Low Density Residential
CURRENT ZONING: "SF -IA" Single Family Residential District
HISTORY: -City Council approved a Final Plat for The Glory Place on October 3, 1978.
-A Plat Revision was approved by City Council on April 27, 1982.
-City Council approved a change of zoning to "SF -IA" with the adoption of
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 480 on September 19, 1989.
-A Plat Revision for Lot 4R was approved by City Council on December 21,
1993.
-A Preliminary Plat and Plat Revision was approved by City Council on
September 21, 2004.
STAFF COMMENTS: City Council approved the four lot subdivision on September 21, 2004. As
part of the approval, City Council granted a variance from the Subdivision
Ordinance No. 483 allowing the lots to front on a paved common access
easement in lieu of a public street. Additionally, it was required that the City
Council review and approve the plan for the gate and wall prior to
construction.
The proposed plan is included as Attachment `C'. The elevation shows the
gate and only the section of wall east of the gate. The mirror image of this
wall section will be constructed on the west side of the gate.
There are no review comments.
