PROJECT: Specific Use Permit for a Mass Gathering Event — Southlake 50 Anniversary
Celebrations
REQUEST: In cooperation with Cooper & Stebbins, the City of Southlake is requesting approval
of a specific use permit to allow a mass gathering event at Southlake Town Square,

gathering event is to celebrate the 50 Anniversary of the City of Southlake's

Approximately 6,000 persons are expected to take part in the activities planned
throughout the day. Attached with this memo (Attachment C) is a letter from the
Director of Community Services describing the events and activities planned for the
day. Although food, games, and concert activities are expected, no alcohol sales are
planned.
ACTION NEEDED: 1. Conduct a Public Hearing
2. Consider specific use permit approval
