SPDC funds is:
o Shady Oak trail from F.M. 1709 to Love Henry Court linking Durham

SPDC trail projects have to be recommended by the Park Board and approved by
the SPDC prior to commencement. This item is scheduled to be heard by the Park
Board at its June 12, 2006 meeting and by the SPDC at its June 20, 2006 meeting.
The width of the recommended sections is based on the width of the trail /sidewalk
specified in the 2005 Pathways Master Plan or 5' along all other segments.
Attached with this memo are maps depicting the location and details of each of
the proposed segments. The construction of these sidewalks is proposed to be
managed by the Public Works Department. Public Works is proposing to
construct these projects through the use of an interlocal agreement with the City
of Grapevine. The City of Grapevine has an annual contract for the construction
of concrete flatwork suitable for constructing concrete sidewalks.
