Modifications to the Conditional Sign Permit for Southlake Town Square for
PROJECT:
Harkins Theatres
REQUEST: This is a request to modify the Southlake Town Square Grand Avenue District
conditional sign permit requirements for Harkins Theatres, located at 1450 Plaza
Place. A sign package specific to Harkins Theatres was approved as part of the
Grand Avenue District conditional sign permit. The applicant is now requesting to
add a line of copy to the sign on the north elevation facing S.H. 114 to advertise the
Cine Capri. The previously proposed sign for the north elevation was 196 s.f. The
new proposed sign is 332 s.f.
Note: The applicant has removed the “Cine Capri” text from the sign on the east
(rear) elevation and reduced the size of the remaining text from 52 inches to 36
inches. This change has reduced the size of the east elevation sign from 400+ s.f. to
111 s.f.
ACTION NEEDED: Consider request for modification.
