PROJECT: Plat Vacation for Sandlin Estates
REQUEST: Approval of a plat vacation for Sandlin Estates. Sandlin Estates is currently a plat of
record in the county plat records for a 14.3 acre single homestead lot. This plat
dedicated easements, right-of-ways and a right-of-way reservation. The purpose of this
plat vacation is to eliminate the dedications and any deed restrictions associated with
the original Sandlin Estates plat to allow for filing of the approved final plat for Sandlin
Manor, a 21 lot residential development approved by the Planning and Zoning
Commission in November of 2005.
Consider approval of a plat vacation, save and except the right-of-way
ACTION NEEDED:
dedication for Shady Oaks Drive.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
OWNER/APPLICANT: Savannah Court Partnership.
PURPOSE: Vacate this subdivision to allow for a new plat for residential home construction
be approved and recorded with the County.
PROPERTY SITUATION: Located 2,500 feet north of W. Southlake Boulevard between N. White Chapel
Boulevard and Shady Oaks Drive. The physical address is 400 W. Chapel
Downs Drive.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Sandlin Estates
LAND USE CATEGORY: Medium Density Residential
CURRENT ZONING: “SF-20A” Single Family Residential District
P&Z ACTION: November 3, 2005; approved on consent (7-0).
COUNCIL ACTION:
STAFF COMMENTS: There is no plan review required for this request. An exhibit of the plat to be
vacated is included as Attachment ‘C’ of this report
