Item 4A2 On December 20, 2005, Mike Grigsby and David Tuberville, both employees of the City of Southlake, were driving in the 2600 block of North Whites Chapel Boulevard; and, Whereas the two Community Services Department employees witnessed some smoke , rising from the creek below the bridge they were crossing; and, Whereas Mike Grigsby and David Tuberville stopped their vehicle and witnessed a , vehicle upside down in the creek approximately 12 feet below the roadway; and, Whereas without hesitation, the two men rushed to the creek and pulled a mother and , her three children from the partially submerged wreckage as water continued to rise in the vehicle; and, Whereas the display of courage and bravery not only prevented injury but possibly saved , four lives; now, Therefore I, Andy Wambsganss, Mayor of the City of Southlake, on behalf of the City , Council, do hereby proclaim December 20, 2005, as Mike Grigsby and David Tuberville Day
