Sign Variance for Home Design Studio
PROJECT:
REQUEST: JKF Industries, Inc. (Home Design Studio) is requesting a variance from the Sign
Ordinance No. 704-C regulations for maximum area for an attached sign. The subject
property is located at 2225 West Southlake Boulevard, Suite 465 in the Southlake
Marketplace retail center. The applicant is requesting to move an existing internally
illuminated sign from the previous store location in Rockwall to the new store location
in Southlake. Under Sign Ordinance No. 704-C, the applicant is allowed a maximum
sign area of 29.6 square feet. The applicant is requesting a maximum sign area of 39.2
square feet. The sign complies with letter height and sign width requirements. The
specific variance requested is as follows:
