The purpose of the revision is to abandon a 10 foot utility easement along the north boundary of Lot 22. The applicant is requesting to abandon this easement to allow more room in the backyard for a swimming pool. The applicant has indicated to staff that they have contacted all franchise utility companies and has received confirmation that there have no issues with the abandonment. All utility companies must sign the abandonment approval statement on the face of the plat before the City can file the plat of record in the County. The City’s Public Works Department has reviewed the proposal of the abandonment and has no issues with the request.
