WS Item 4City of Southlake Department of Planning & Development Services M E M O R A N D U M March 14, 2007 TO:Shana Yelverton, City Manager FROM: Ken Baker, AICP, Planning & Development Services Director SUBJECT: Status Report of the Southlake 2025 Plan Recommendations The City Council adopted all the elements of the Southlake 2025 Plan, the city’s Comprehensive Master Plan in 2005. This plan has become the foundation for guiding change in the city. Since its adoption several of the recommendations of this plan have been implemented in a variety of ways including ordinance amendments, further studies, establishment of other policies and programs, and funding improvements. In an effort to evaluate the extent to which the recommendations of the Southlake 2025 Plan have been implemented, staff has developed a status report. Attached with this memorandum is a summary table of the status of all recommendations of the Southlake 2025 Plan arranged by category of recommendation (land use, urban design, pedestrian connectivity, parks, economic development, and transportation). Staff will review this status report with City Council at their next meeting on March 20, 2007. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
