HISTORY: September 2006 – A sign variance was approved for Bicentennial Plaza (SP06-362) which included conditional regulations for maximum letter height for attached signs; distance between monument signs; and minimum monument setback. City Council granted the three requested variances but noted that other than the variance on the letter heights, the attached signage would meet all other regulations of the sign ordinance and there would be some uniformity of fonts and colors. In addition, City Council required the monument signs be brought back for separate approval. April 2008 – The monument signs were approved by Council.
