PROJECT:Sign Variance for Kaleidoscope of Homes Temporary Signs
REQUEST:
Terra / Hat Creek is requesting a variance to the Sign Ordinance No. 704-D
requirements for the location of a banner sign; the duration period for banner and
special purpose signs; and, the number of special purpose signs allowed. Specifically,
the applicant is requesting to hang a temporary banner sign on the north entrance wall
of the Shady Oaks Development; place one (1) temporary on-site special purpose sign
on the south side of the entrance drive; five (5) temporary off-site special purpose
signs at specific locations throughout the City of Southlake; and, up to twenty (20)
small bandit signs at various intersections at and around the Shady Oaks
development. The applicant is requesting an approval period from September 8, 2010
through November 1, 2010 for the banner and larger signs; and, an approval period
from October 9 – 31, 2010 for the small bandit signs.
The specific variances requested are as follows:

PROPERTY SITUATION: The Shady Oaks subdivision is located at 820 Shady Oaks.
HISTORY: The subdivision entry sign for Shady Oaks was permitted December 1, 2008.
There is no current history of any sign variances for this location.
