Item 9B Department of Planning & Development Services S T A F F R E P O R T June 25, 2008 SP 08-144 CASE NO: Sign Variance for Carillon Office Development Temporary Sign PROJECT: REQUEST: Hines Southlake Land, L.P. is requesting a variance to the Sign Ordinance No. 704-C requirements for sign height and sign area for a temporary land sign. The applicant is requesting a temporary sign for the proposed Carillon Office Development, located at the 200 block of East S.H. 114 on the north side of the highway. The specific variances requested are as follows: Sign Regulation Current Regulation Proposed Regulation Maximum Height 5 feet 14 feet Maximum Area 64 square feet total; 32 square 100 square feet total; 100 feet per sign face square feet per sign face (1 sided sign) ACTION NEEDED: Consider variance request.
