QUESTIONS / CONCERNS Case No. Attachment A ZA10-030 Page 1  Is Spanish offered in Southlake Schools? It is probably as an elective, but not completely sure.  What’s your closest school in the area? We don't have one but plan to open in Colleyville as well.  Is this on regular school time throughout the year? Yes, we operate closely the same as regular school times but we do have summer camp program as well.  What’s the maximum number of students that can be attending? We have a maximum capacity of 49.  Were demographics looked at for the location or community? Yes, we purposely looked at Southlake due to the nature of the community because it is very family oriented.  Do you have a map of the buildings or location? No, we only have the interior layout of the building showing the classrooms.  Do you expect primarily English speaking or Spanish speaking students? We anticipate English speaking; this is the goal of our school to teach primarily English speaking children of the community to speak Spanish.  Is the building up to code? Staff: In the SUP process the building would need to be brought up to code for any modifications done to the building, use being proposed and whatever state requirements are required. STAFF COMMENTS: Due to the limited scope of this application, a staff review was not generated. However, it is important to note the following in determining safety at this location:  Upon SUP approval, a smoke alarm system is required to be installed prior to If the occupant load is 50 or more you will need to add fire alarm operation ( system (with children 2 ½ and older.)
