Item 4EITEM 4E Approve the contract with McCreary, Veselka, Bragg & Allen, P.C. to provide collection services for the City of Southlake Municipal Court. 3 Collection Services for City of Southlake Municipal Court Collection Contract The Code of Criminal Procedure (“CCP”), Article 103.0031, allows for a municipality to contract a private attorney or vendor to collect delinquent fines and fees dated on or after June 18, 2003. The CCP authorizes the attorney/vendor to charge a collection fee of thirty percent (30%) directly to the defendant on any final disposition more than 60 days past due.
