Background
Information:
A zoning change and site plan from “SF-1A” Single Family
Residential District to “S-P-1” Detailed Site Plan District was
approved by City Council on April 20, 2010. The elevations
submitted on June 10, 2010 with the application for a building
permit do not match the elevations approved by City Council. The
changes to the approved elevations are as follows:
1. The approved elevations show a brick façade with a metal
standing seam roof. The revised elevations include metal
panels and CMU split face block in addition to brick on the
facades. The roof remains standing seam metal.
2. The height as measured from the ground to the peak of the
roof has increased from approximately twenty-four feet four
inches (24’ 4”) to approximately twenty-seven feet six inches
(27’ 6”) for the one-story portions of the building. The overall
height of the gymnasium remains at approximately thirty feet
(30’).
