Council Action Required for Dedication of Easement of Park Property
Purpose:
City Charter requires ordinance to “Convey, lease or authorize the conveyance or lease of any lands of the city.”
City is conveying property rights to Oncor Electric Delivery Company
Dedication of Utility Easement
With the construction of Bicentennial Park Phase I on the west side of Bicentennial Park, electrical service is required for the future ball fields, lights and other park amenities.
The electric provider, Oncor Electric Delivery Company, has requested the City grant an easement and right-of-way dedication of City park property to modify existing electrical service
for the park improvements.
