About the Facilities Plan Implements the following City Council’s Strategic Objective: Systematically invest in and enhance capital infrastructure This study would evaluate future needs for city facilities based on community objectives, desired levels of service, growth potential, and financial efficiencies Scope of the Facilities Plan Phase 1 (Scope One): generate a needs assessment of all existing and potential departments/divisions of the city; Recommend a strategy for satisfying current and future space needs. Phase 2 (Scope Two): evaluate the opportunities for expansion of city facilities on the Parkwood Drive site, including, but not limited to the Senior Center and the city’s Recreation Center; develop a schematic master plan for all proposed uses on the Parkwood Drive site.
