WS Item 3I2ACTion Award Program Reinforcing Southlake Values I2ACTion Awards Recognize, validate and value Recognize employees who demonstrate values at work Reward action that is above and beyond their normal job duties Awardees Integrity Sam Cobb – noticed error in his paycheck (higher than normal) and notified Finance. Error affected 15 employees. Accountability Theresa Tryon – honest and positive information to Southlake dispatchers during transition. Awardees Innovation Crystal Shafer – developed tracking spreadsheet for rec leagues, saving staff time. Carrie Ferguson – developed “bathroom briefing” training method for DPS personnel at West. Awardees Innovation Marshall Urbanosky – fixed simulator with needle, stick and duct tape keeping class from being cancelled. Kerry McGeath – developed first ever “virtual library” in Texas. Awardees Accountability and Teamwork Kyle Flanagan, Zack Garrett, Steve Stokes, Gary Aguirre, David Louallen, Terry Holloway – assisted DPS in installation of Outdoor Warning Siren and took on extra work to correct problems. Awardees Commitment to Excellence Terry Lee, Richard Andrade, Ruben Alvarado, Johnny Lopez, Marvin Athans – due to bad weather earlier in week, worked Super Bowl Sunday to prep ball fields. Awardees Commitment to Excellence Susi Hernandez – managed Town Hall office renovations in addition to normal duties. Pam Jordan – coordinated technical services issues for renovation and staff relocations. Awardees Commitment to Excellence Elsie Rice – willingly worked on weekend to field garbage complaint calls with outstanding customer care. Jesse Ephraim – willingness to respond immediately to another department request for tech assist. Awardees Commitment to Excellence Mike White – returned to work late at night to perform a critical inspection that was not ready during day. Ryan York – responded quickly to disabled truck; used skills to repair and get crew back on job. Awardees Commitment to Excellence Renni Burt and Caroline Seay – in addition to normal duties, diligence in identifying substandard buildings and working with owners has resulted in voluntary removal of nine structures. Awardees Teamwork Pilar Schank and Jesse Ephraim – working together and with vendor, solved emergent technical issues during migration of City website to new server. Determined a solution with minimal disruption. Awardees Teamwork Kim Bush – with less than 24 hours notice, assisted PW with presentation for joint SPIN / City Council meeting. Valerie Potter – willingly assisted with stamping, closing over 500 mailers for rush job. Awardees Teamwork Mark Cisneros and Zach Garrett – assisted Economic Development with Sidewalk Sale by installing posts for banners. Awardees Teamwork Tara Brooks – managed, formatted and “engineered” migration of all Council, Board, and Commission agendas to new website and developed new web maintenance system. Awardees Teamwork Randy Baker, Ric Salas, and Ronnie White – working together, rescued small dog from further attack by much larger dog; plan kept dogs and people safe. I2ACTion Thank You!
